I think Tim Roemer would be a great candidate, he's a washington Insider who has not been in office for a time and he is a moderate.

I am intrigued by the idea of an Obama/Hagel ticket. It would certainly bring a message of change and elevate the tone and civility of the discourse.

Senator Webb and Gov. Richardson would both bring strength to the ticket as well.

I can say with absolute certainty that Joe Lieberman will not be on the ticket.

Most importantly, he has already endorsed McCain and campaigned for him and attack Obama for him - he couldn't possibly be considered as a VP. Second, he is for the Iraq war. Sure he could say that, but he doesn't believe it, so why would he say it? He has burned many bridges on the Democratic party due to his endorsement and pro-Iraq views. He also is a good friend of McCain's, he would never run against him now...

If Obama wants experience/credibility, there are plenty other and better candidates on the Democratic side - like Bill Richardson.

what about Joe Lieberman? He is pro-war, but could he say "we can all agree it's time to leave"? Seems like he would give experience/credibility and age to the Obama ticket.
